Thoughts of a wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many people have written about the ARNI method. Gabriella P\u00e1sztor, who brought this method to us, did a great job for a group of people, sick people. As an affected party, as a wife, I am now writing about why I turned to the ARNI method for help. STROKE Neuro Rehab<\/strong>-to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My husband, who is 75 years old, has had Parkinson's since 2013, and Heine-Medines since he was 5 years old. Last September, he was hospitalized for a week and a half. (Circulation problem.) We brought home a helpless man, he couldn't take his medication, he could barely communicate, eating and drinking was a problem, etc. He lost a lot of weight, and he became completely resigned and weak. After a week, I just cried and sobbed for 2 days, but I tried to feed him, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I'm not a crybaby, I almost never cried. But somehow this broke through my husband's wall of acceptance and resignation, and he started eating minimally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After about 3 months, the situation started to change. He felt that he was needed, that he was loved. We waited for the recommended physiotherapist from the local clinic, but he just didn't come. In the meantime, there was a home attempt at movement. At such times, you don't want to do any harm, so I started to wonder what to do. What can a wife do after 50 years of marriage to be able to shuffle around a little, sit up a little, get out of bed a little again?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We had been to Ap\u00e1thy Street before, where he was able to move around for 3 hours at his age, thanks to the wonderful ARNI method. But we couldn't go in his condition. I tried my best to give him psychological support. With the help of my son, we had already lifted him into the wheelchair, where he started to sit a little. He had a little hope. He didn't last long, but he sensed the possibility. The hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In my last moments of desperation, I called Stroke Rehab to see what they could do, or if they could help at all. Did they have any advice?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First results: the urine started to flow like crazy. There was more stool, the urge to urinate stopped. Speech improved. My husband holds his leg after a leg raise, lifts his butt, even several times. (We are talking about an incontinent patient.) When asked how much he would take: more, five, ten more. With aids \u2013 a stick, a ball, a ladder \u2013 the abdominal muscles started working, my husband lifts his leg to the other bed, helps him turn over, and we are only at the beginning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even a small achievement is a great joy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a relative, I see the greatness of using this method for Parkinson's patients in that it postpones the \u2013 unfortunately, legally inevitable \u2013 worsening situation, even for years. It helps them live a more normal, more humane life.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The style is the person himself \u2013 and the ARNI method is the most humane, respectful method. It develops the body and the soul in unity. It gives us faith, it instills in us that we are capable of it, that we can do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Big lesson: Don't expect a roasted pigeon beyond the power of love. There are indeed everyday miracles, especially when they are brought about by a family and a group of highly skilled trainers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
