Hi Gabi!

I owe a lot of apologies for disappearing like that, but my father came to pick me up and there was only free parking at the gate.

I didn't pick up a pen right away because the knowledge I gained needs to take a while to sink in. Like recovery, it doesn't happen overnight. I rarely write more than five lines, I'm not a novelist.

I think you'll get a lot of compliments, and that's all I can offer.

I have trained a lot and will continue to train. I know that unfortunately not everyone is like this, although fitness makes movements possible, and with its help one can practice certain movements. The Arni method is great for stroke survivors because it systematically offers the exercises that are essential for functional movement.

This is exactly the system every survivor needs, because a stroke is (at least for me) like being put into a big washing machine that mixed everything up, and only slowly, through lots of movement and practice, does my body and mind begin to clear up.

The mind is closely connected to the body (for me), because as I become better at commanding my muscles, I can think more clearly.

With the Arni method, even those who have never exercised in their life can gain so-called muscle awareness. For this, it is very important to perform the exercises precisely, since Tom's (Dr. Tom Balchin, the developer of Arni) exercises, as an athlete and stroke survivor, affect exactly the muscles that are involved in the exercises.

I have been doing squats for a long time, for example, and of course I have been doing more and more over time, but the Arni method has shown that quality is much more important than quantity. After all, the correct execution of this basic exercise involved completely different muscles than before. This gives us the opportunity to get closer to recovery by performing each exercise correctly.

I think it's very important to keep in mind that all opportunities are given, but no one will do it for us.

I think everyone should know this and not wait for the solution from outside, because it is true in all areas of life that 30% is talent, 70% is practice, and everyone can be at least 70% in everything!

Most importantly, thank you and Tom for showing me details of the method. I'm really looking forward to doing the exercises according to the DVDs.

Special thanks for the opportunity to work with Csaba, I think he applies the knowledge he has received very well. He is a truly attentive and effective physiotherapist based on my experience.

Have a nice day!
